Welcome and introductions:

 Shauna Allen

  • Shauna Allen proposed Katte Watson as Vice-Chair, Nanette and Sher approved.
  • It was proposed that Becky Westergard take meeting minutes, Nanette took them today as she was not in attendance.

School LAND Trust Training Videos 

This is a 6-minute video, Sher will send it in an email to the council members. The online Live Training link will be emailed to you on October 21st.
They will be offered on the following dates:

  • Nov. 9 (12 pm)
  • Nov. 9 (7 pm)
  • Nov. 14th (12 pm)
  • Nov. 14th (7 pm)

Report on 2021-22 Land Trust Funds

2022-2023 Land Trust Plan

The PCE reading goal is that 60% of students will make typical or above typical progress on Pathways of Progress for reading according to Acadience testing. The action steps are: Pay for paraeducators for reading interventions, pay for computer aides for PLC time, pay for a substitute for the librarian (to maintain PLCs when she is absent), and purchase Chromebook labs.

The PCE math goal action steps include: Paying for paras for PLC time, including subs for the library, and Chromebook labs.

2022-23 ESSER Focus Areas and Plan

 Sher Elliott: ESSER plan is not on the PCE website. It is COVID relief funds and this is the last year we receive them. The funds are supporting reading interventions and enrichment.
