Welcome and introductions:

  Heather Neilson

Minutes Approval 

Minutes were read by Nanette Watson. Becki Westergard approved the minutes and Katte Watson seconded the approval.

Compliance Checklist:

 We are in compliance. Every member of the community council needs to sign the school trust land form. This will be sent to your email.

Plan Review:
  • Reading goal: Funding for reading paraprofessionals. Funding for 4-6 grade students.
  • PLC time for computer aides and substitute for the library aide. Monthly coverage for school success team meetings.
  • Classroom Chromebook labs
  • Math: RISE score 25% points higher than the average for WSD students in 3-6th grades.
  • PLC time (collaboration time for teachers will be funded).

School Safety Plan: 

  Fire drill coming up. We need to have one every other month. We report to the district on how that drill went.

Budget Review:

 Mrs. Neilson

School Business:

  • We can have maturation at the school. April 22nd for 5th grade. Boys and girls will be separated. 

  • School parties for Valentine’s Day. Grade-level parties.

  • Volunteers are welcome to come in.

  • Field Day is tentatively scheduled for May 26th.
