Minutes for Community Council Meeting

October 12, 2020

The meeting started at 11:00 a.m.

The council needs to view training videos on schooltrustland.org.

Plan review by Heather Neilson.  The two goals of Math and Reading have very similar action steps of intervention and collaboration time, supporting Chromebooks, and providing substitute teachers.  The Math goal is to be 19 points higher than the state average on the RISE test. 

For the budget review, we have approximately $23,000 set aside for technology and $64,432 for salaries and benefits.  The estimated distribution is $87,432 for the 2020-2021 school year.

The school will have an outside Halloween parade.  The students will be allowed to dress up but must be wearing a mask. Parents will need to bring their own chairs and social distance.  Parents must only take pictures of their own individual children at the parade (no groups).

Regulations from the Health Department have not changed so the Covid restrictions will not change for next semester.
