Hi! I’m Sara Childs, and I’m thrilled to be part of the third grade family, where I’ve been teaching since 2023. Before I became a teacher, I had the joy of working as a reading aide, helping students build their reading skills and develop a love for books. With a Master's degree in Instruction and Curriculum, I’m always looking for new ways to make learning exciting and meaningful. My ultimate goal is to create a classroom where every child loves to learn and feels excited to come to school each day. I believe no child should ever hate school, and I’m dedicated to making learning fun and full of opportunities for growth!

When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me outdoors, hiking, building puzzles, or organizing just about anything! I’m also married and a proud mom to four wonderful kids. As a family, we love going on road trips and exploring new places together.

I’m excited to continue helping my students grow, laugh, and enjoy their learning adventures!

My name is Erin Moyes. I love being with my family. I am married with four kids, two boys and two girls. We are busy with my kids involved in various activities. As a family we love to travel, hike, and go to sporting events. On my own I love to find a good book and read as much as I can.

I graduated from Weber State with an accounting degree and stayed home with my kids for 16 years. In 2020 I went back to school and graduated with a Masters degree in Elementary Education and started teaching in 2022.  I love teaching and getting to know my students each year. I went to Plain City Elementary (a few years ago ) and all of my kids graduated from Plain City as well. We live in a great community and I love teaching at Plain City.

My name is Taylor Sant, and I have been an educator since 2018. I have taught both kindergarten and third grade, and I love working with students at different stages of their learning journey. I hold dual bachelor's degrees in early childhood education and elementary education from Utah State University, as well as a master's degree in educational psychology from Purdue University. I am passionate about creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences, helping students grow both academically and personally.

I grew up in Virginia and have always had a love for visiting new places. I’ve traveled to all 50 states, and my next goal is to visit every national park. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, watching movies, crafting, baking, shopping and reading. Some of my favorite things are diet coke, chocolate, popcorn, and Chick-Fil-A. I believe that learning is a lifelong journey, and I strive to inspire that same love of learning in my students every day.

Erin Scott

Hello! I'm Erin Scott, and I've had the privilege of teaching third grade at Plain City Elementary since 2007. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Weber State University and my Master's degree from Western Governors University.

Outside of the classroom, I'm a proud mom to three amazing children and a grandmother to seven adorable grandchildren. When I'm not spending time with family, you can find me hiking, playing pickleball, paddleboarding, or trying my hand at golf.

My mission in the classroom is to foster an environment filled with learning, laughter, and kindness — with just a little bit of singing thrown in for fun!
