  • 4-years-old by September 1 of the school calendar year.

  • Priority for enrollment in the program will be based on several factors, including (but not limited to) residency in the local school boundaries, qualifications for School Readiness funding (income level), and the risk factors from the application form.

  • Continuous enrollment will be based on attendance requirements of the program; attendance is critical to keeping your enrollment!

If you are interested in receiving an application, please fill out the link below and the preschool application will be emailed to the email address provided in the Preschool Pre-Screener form.

Once eligibility is determined, a registration appointment will be scheduled and the following documentation will need to be submitted before your child can be officially enrolled.

I earned my degree in Elementary Education from Weber State University and later completed a degree in Preschool Special Education from Utah State University. Between teaching elementary aged kids and preschoolers, I have 7 years of teaching experience. I joined Plain City Elementary in March of 2025 and previously taught preschool at Valley Elementary. I love teaching preschoolers- they are the best.  It has been so fun to be part of the Plain City Elementary community. This is a wonderful school and I feel lucky to be here!

I’ve been married for nearly 20 years and am the proud mom of four wonderful daughters between the ages of 8 and 16. Outside of school, I enjoy cheering on my kids at their soccer games, dance recitals, and theater performances. I also love reading, baking, taking long walks outside, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.

I am married and have four kids who, one by one, are heading off to college—how am I that old already!? I love to travel and spend time outdoors, whether it’s playing pickleball, hiking, or biking. Some of my favorite places I’ve visited include British Columbia, the Redwoods, and Costa Rica—basically anywhere warm where I don’t have to do the cooking!

I began my journey in education as a paraprofessional at Canyon View and loved it so much that I went back to school to become a teacher. I have truly enjoyed every minute of my career and feel so fortunate to work as a special education teacher. My favorite part of the job is watching kids grow and celebrating their progress along the way.
