PLAIN CITY, UT – There is a saying at Plain City Elementary that if you need to know anything—from the bus schedule to where the extra glue sticks are hidden—there is only one person to ask. Today, the entire Weber School District knows what we’ve known all along: Becci Kohler is one of the best in the business.
We are thrilled to announce that our very own administrative assistant, Becci Kohler, has been officially nominated for the Weber School District 2026 Classified Employee of the Year! ### The Face of Our School As one of the first faces you see when you walk through the front doors of Plain City Elementary, Becci sets the tone for our entire building. Whether it’s a nervous preschooler on their first day or a busy parent dropping off a forgotten lunch, Becci greets everyone with a radiant smile and a kind word. Her ability to brighten someone’s day the moment they enter the building is a gift that makes our school feel like a true community.
More Than Just a Secretary
While her official title might be administrative assistant, the Panther family knows she wears many hats. Becci is our:
Problem Solver: No question is too big or too small. If she doesn’t know the answer (which is rare!), she’ll find it.
Creative Spark: Becci brings a sense of fun and creativity to the office that keeps our spirits high.
The "Glue" of PCE: From managing the daily hustle of a K-6 school to ensuring our staff has what they need to succeed, she is the engine that keeps us running.
A Well-Deserved Honor
The Nominee Recognition Banquet was recently held at the Ogden Country Club to celebrate educators and staff who make the district shine. This event, supported by the Weber School Foundation and Tony Divino Toyota, highlighted the dedication and passion required to help students grow.
