Jumping into Summer like… 🐾💨
Our Panther Jump Rope Club absolutely crushed their end-of-year showcase! From the morning assembly to the parent performance, these students showed us what hard work and rhythm look like.
Here are the highlights:
👯♀️ Perfect synchronization (jumping “in sink!”)
🤸♂️ Mind-blowing tricks with hands and feet on the ground.
⚡️ Double-rope mastery.
🕺 A legendary breakdancing solo from our littlest jumper!
👟 Special guest appearance by Mrs. Elliott, who proved she’s still got the moves!

What a way to kick off summer! 🐾⚾
Our annual 6th Grade vs. Teachers kickball game was one for the books! The teachers may have secured the 21-3 win (thanks to some epic home runs by Josh, Mrs. Foy, and Mrs. Wiser!), but our 6th graders showed incredible heart and hustle until the very last out. From the Panther mascot getting on base to our favorite janitor, Josh, making a snag in the outfield, the energy was unmatched.
As the high-fives faded and the school year officially came to a close, there were plenty of smiles (and some very sore teachers!). We are so proud of our students and want to wish everyone a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break. Congratulations to our promoting 6th graders you'll always be Panthers! From beach scenes to backyard bashes, these students showed off some incredible engineering skills and teamwork. It wasn't easy to pick a winner, but our guest judges—Mr. Rhees and Mrs. Skeem—took their jobs very seriously as they evaluated every build.
🏆 And the Winner Is...
A huge shoutout to the winning team! Their summer creation featuring the iconic pink flamingo took home the top prize. Check out their masterpiece! 🦩✨

📍 **WHERE:** Lee Olsen Park (by the City Offices and Fire Station)
A huge thank you to the **Plain City Corporation** and the **Lions Club** for sponsoring this event!
They have planned specific age groups (0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9), plus a special **Audible Egg Hunt** for youth with disabilities, including those who are vision-impaired (all ages welcome in this area)! 💙📢

Calling all Panther families! It’s time for our annual Lunch With Someone Grand event at Plain City Elementary. We invite our students to bring a special "GRAND" guest—a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or any loved one to enjoy a meal together in the Panther Cafe!
🗓️ When to Join Us: Please join your student during their specific grade-level time: Mon. April 13: 3rd Grade (11:45) & 5th Grade (12:30)
Tues. April 14: 1st Grade (11:15), Kinder (12:00), & 6th Grade (12:45)
Thurs. April 16: 2nd Grade (11:30) & 4th Grade (12:15).
🍴 Important Reminders:
RSVP: Return your reservation form by April 7, 2026.
Prepay: All adult school meals ($4.75) must be prepaid online at weber.powerschool.com or in the front office. Bringing Lunch? Even if you bring your own food, please submit the form so we can save you a seat!
Parking: Please use the south parking lot.
ID Required: If you plan to check your student out after lunch, you must bring a photo ID and be on the Emergency Contact List.
